Remigia the locomotive for the recycling of technological objects stationed in G! Playing as
I n the occasion of the 3rd edition of How to Play G!, the International Game, scheduled from 19 to November 21 in Milan at the fairgrounds in Fieramilanocity ReMedia, a leading systems Italian group active in eco-sustainable management of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), brings the spotlight Remigia. The fantastic recycling locomotive, created to give voice to the world of e-waste is, in fact, the main player at the Game Fair dedicated entirely to children, adolescents and their families. Interactive, colorful, noisy and fun, with Remigia students can explore the journey of an object technology - particularly the small consumer electronics such as cell phones, cameras, video games, walkman, PC - through the stages of collection, recycling and materials recovery, told with simplicity and directness in an exciting laboratory for free. And there's more! To raise awareness and involve even the youngest, now major users and technology enthusiasts, organized ReMedia for the duration of the event an amazing collection of electronic toys. It is indeed an original initiative of recreational and educational nature which allows all children to leave the stand of Remigia - Hall 3 Stand C17 - their old electronic toys (remote controlled, electric cars and motorbikes, robots, walkie talkie , etc..) but also game consoles, MP3 players, DVD players out of action, getting a nice gadget as a gift to witness their commitment to the environment. The small consumer electronics - Such as mobile phones, cameras, video games, walkman, computer - when finally wears it becomes a WEEE, which is a rejection of Electrical and Electronic Equipment. WEEE can contain materials such as heavy metals, brominated flame retardants, and halogenated substances for ozone depleting substances. Many of them represent a potential danger to the environment if not treated or disposed of properly. For this WEEE can not be disposed in regular trash bins, but must be separately collected and sent to specialized treatment centers, in addition to the recovery of metal, plastic and melt, remove all the components and substances harmful to health and the environment. Wastes are an increasing reality technology in the world and in our country and in particular there is a growth rate of 5% globally, more than triple that of normal waste. Children and teens are actors in the foreground in the purchase and use of these products. For this reason ReMedia with G! How to Play, an initiative by the success of well established, has also decided to target the younger generation with the aim to understand how small everyday actions are sufficient to contribute to the waste collection technology. A commitment that children want to go through the houses so that it becomes a cornerstone of our habits.
